Challenge

The challenge is to navigate Dasar’s brand to the corporate league and create an independent design house targeted towards the retail segment. It was vital to attach the new line to Dasar’s heritage in contracting and interior design.

Solution

A research by PWC shows that Saudis are more attuned to print, outdoor advertising and social media than TV and radio. In fact, 36% of the population visits Twitter once a day and 99.7% of the population prefer to read Arabic online. The new brand was launched at a 5-stars hotel in Jeddah, followed by an outdoor ad campaign hosted on sites adjacent to major compounds.
