Challenge

Time limitation for starters. The client contacted us a week before the event and we had very limited content to utilize. Additionally, the event was taking place in Doha, Qatar and we had little understanding how the local culture would interact with this show, given that advertising would take place during Ramadan and the actual launch was scheduled on the fourth day of Eid.

Step 02

Solution

We worked on a content plan for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Twitter. We were able to source content from previos shows while we continued to ask for content curated especially for Doha’s event. The client was nothing but accomodative and we were able to hit the ground running. We had videos, audios for radio ads and recent images that were utilized across Instagram stories. Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat have been instrumental in reaching out to Qataris. Additionally, we sponsored a number of Instagram influencers who each had their own niche of customers. We continued to monitor performance and make necessary changes to the campaign.

Result: We’ve achieved more than 1.5 million impressions, with over a 100K clicks all leading to a dedicated landing page (Virgin Tickets Online). The Elite and Gold tickets were almost sold out (over 700 tickets in total). The show has been a great success
